Sanctioned: a novel by Chris Page
Britain is sinking under the weight of scroungers, skivers, shirkers, refugees, migrants, libtards, experts, and snowflakes. The economy is hobbled and the very fabric of society is in need of a good scrubbing. Gideon Smith, an agent of the Department of Aspiration, has been tasked with doing something about it — and in no uncertain terms.

Weed: Chris Page's first novel.
If the world is weird, what does that make the person the weird world thinks is weird? Serious question. Weird answer.

Weedy words of praise from a publisher in London:

"... it’s really witty and very strong ... I would compare the writing to Robert Rankin, or a really satirically biting Tom Sharpe, and will say again that I’m really impressed by it"

Yes, there used to be a Twitter timeline here. Now Twitter is ex-Twitter, if you see what I mean. I don't wish to endorse Mr Musk's grotesque Twitter parody, so the timeline is gone. However, Twitter ought to be a public space, as the internet ought to be a public space. End the corporate enclosures! Perhaps people can oust Mr Musk and reclaim the Twittersphere for good. Until then, or until there is a viable plan, Page will be limiting his contact with the Muskiverse. Oh, but you can find me on Mastodon: @ChrisPage@mastodon.world and Bluesky, @psipook.bsky.social.
